best practices for blogs.

Three Best practices for blogs:

1. Now this is great. I goggled "best practices for safe blogging" and came up with what has to be another students blog for this assignment in 2010. http://sheniseedublog.blogspot.com/2010/09/best-practices-for-safe-blogging.html. This student points out that one should obey the law and be careful not to break copy write laws. With so much access to information, it seems like more and more people are ignoring intellectual property writs. It only seems fair (and safe) to obey such laws.

2. Don't share personal information someone could use to steel your identity.  This actually happened to my wife. Not only did she have lots of personal information on her page, she had a very hackable pass word that happened to be the same as her e-mail password. Bad things happened.

3. Use built in privacy settings and restrict public access to your profile. This is also a good idea in avoiding what happened to my wife.
