So far, I have not considered the use of blogs in education. I am still unsure how I will incorporate them, but the following blogs have given me some interesting ideas. For engineering and technology education, blogs could be extremely useful for tracking and sharing a group (or individual) project. I would also use blogs to share updates in technology and so on.
The Mighty Writers 2007-2008 Third graders (Seattle, WA) Blog is a really nice example of an educational blogs as is includes much information including students' works, teacher comments, photos, video, etc
http://cad-drafting-corner.blogspot.com/ gives an example of tidbits of information on CAD (the subject I teach the most).
Behind the shop Doors (http://blogs.hawkeyecollege.edu/behind-the-shop-doors/?Tag=industrial%20technology) is an example of an Industrial Technology community college Blog. It's a nice way to see what's going on at this college IT (that's Industrial Technology) department.
